I painted on a sunny day. However, the painting failed. I failed, but I will introduce the process.

I thought about various things to draw the symbol mark of Prince. I cut it out using the “cutter compass”.

I made a symbol mark using masking tape. It was difficult to cut out the round part.

The shape of this symbol is slightly different between the “Purple Rain” photo and the bike on display at Paisley Park. Maybe there are two.

Paint it purple with car paint. I have used this color before.

Color doesn’t stick well. I applied it about 5 times.

The feeling when peeling off the masking tape is the best.

Apply normal clear before applying urethane clear.

It’s not glossy, but it’s there to fix the purple color, so that’s okay.

Scrape off the clear to eliminate the step of the symbol mark.

After that, I painted the urethane clear.

It is shiny and beautiful, but there is a sense of incongruity.

You can see the red color underneath. So I need to mask the symbol again and repaint it in purple.
