Last time I made some mistakes, but I was able to paint the exterior in a beautiful purple color. This time, I painted the inside of the cowling black.

The cowling before painting is made of black resin. However, it will not be beautiful after 40 years, so I will paint it.

I flattened the corners with putty. There is a hole for a cigar socket, but since it is not used, it will be closed after painting.

Apply a thick layer of surfacer and scrape it off.

Scrape the surface before painting to increase the adhesion of the paint.

I use this paint tool.

I applied it 3 times. I didn’t clear coat it, but it looks shiny and durable. By the way, the wheels were also painted black.

Building Prince’s Purple Rain Motorcycle Replica (Honda CM400T Custom) in Japan – No. 6

I’m building a motorcycles for Prince “Purple Rain”(No. 6)※painting failed. ☆Click here for the First article ☆ ☆Click here for the completed motorcycle☆ I painted on a sunny day. However, the painting failed. I failed, but I will introduce the process. I thought about various things to draw the symbol mark of Prince. I cut it out using the “cutter compass”. I made a symbol mark using masking tape. It was difficult to cut out the round part. The shape of this symbol is slightly different between the “Purple Rain” photo and the bike on display at Paisley Park. Maybe there are two. …
